What's the FIT Connection?

Teaching your child to be active every day is part of raising FIT kids. Kids who think moving -- exercise -- is fun are more likely to seek out ways to move. A child who enjoys moving and gets plenty of exercise will also reap benefits in other aspects of a FIT life. An active child will have:

  • A greater tendency to make healthy food choices
  • The ability to relieve stress in a healthy way
  • A more positive body image, which can boost mood and deter unhealthy self-soothing choices like oversleeping, overeating, and withdrawing.
