Try This: Stretching Exercises

Open Your Chest

This one eases stiffness in your chest, shoulders, and upper back.

  1. Sit on the edge of your chair with feet flat on the floor.
  2. Reach both hands behind you until you can touch the middle of the back of your chair.
  3. Push your shoulders back and down. Keep them relaxed as you press your hands into the middle of the seat back behind you. If you're sitting in a chair, it may be easier to grab the sides of the chair back and then push your shoulders back. These moves open and expand your chest. Hold.
  4. Count to 10 while slowly breathing in and out.
