Try This: Stretching Exercises
In this article
Open Your Chest
This one eases stiffness in your chest, shoulders, and upper back.
- Sit on the edge of your chair with feet flat on the floor.
- Reach both hands behind you until you can touch the middle of the back of your chair.
- Push your shoulders back and down. Keep them relaxed as you press your hands into the middle of the seat back behind you. If you're sitting in a chair, it may be easier to grab the sides of the chair back and then push your shoulders back. These moves open and expand your chest. Hold.
- Count to 10 while slowly breathing in and out.
